Getting started4 answers
Is everything really free?
Yes. Enrollment, courses and completion certificates are free. No card, tuition or donation is required. Some optional outside tools offer paid plans, but required exercises include free alternatives.
Who can enroll? Do I need to apply?
Public enrollment is open to adults age 18 and older. Choose an available course, sign in with an email you control and confirm the enrollment terms. There is no admissions application or academic entry requirement.
Is vaderaU an accredited college?
No. VADERAU INC provides free, noncredit learning. It is not an accredited college or university. Completion certificates are not degrees, academic credit or professional licenses. Our nonprofit status is separate from educational accreditation.
Are there teachers, live classes or deadlines?
Courses are self-paced. Lessons, exercises, quiz feedback and project self-reviews guide your learning. There are no live classes or individual instructor grading. Course pages show estimated study time, including independent practice and projects. You can take a break and return.
Sign-in & account4 answers
Where can I change my name, email or sign-in security?
Open Account settings in your student workspace. Profile updates your name for future certificates. Security lets you verify a new email and add an authenticator. Sensitive changes require a fresh email code. Devices lets you sign out other browsers. Your student ID and saved work stay with your account.
My sign-in code has not arrived. What should I do?
Check the address you entered, then look in Junk or Spam for an automatic message from noreply@vaderau.org. Allow a few minutes before requesting a new code. Use only the newest code or sign-in link; it expires after 10 minutes and works once. Do not send your code to anyone.
My code or sign-in link does not work.
Use the most recent email. Codes and links expire after 10 minutes and can only be used once. If you requested another email, use that new message. If a mail preview opens the link, finish the confirmation in your browser. Existing accounts with two-factor protection still require their second factor.
Can I use a different phone or computer?
Yes. Sign in with the same email on your other device. Your student ID, enrollments and saved work belong to that account. Using a different email can create a separate account with no previous progress.
Lessons & progress5 answers
Can I pause or archive a course?
Choose Manage course in My learning. Pause takes a break; archive moves a course out of your main list. Both keep saved work, grades and certificates, and stop reminders for that course. Find it under Paused & archived and choose Resume course or Restore course when ready.
Where do I find my courses and saved progress?
Open My learning after signing in. Choose a course to continue. Wait for the saved confirmation when editing notes, practice or project drafts. If something looks missing, first check that you used the same email and course.
How can I make lessons easier to read?
Lessons have separate Read, Practice and Knowledge check sections. Use Next part for short reading sessions, change the font or text size, and choose Save place & take a break when you need to stop. Your saved reading part follows your account across devices. Reading position does not count as lesson completion. Save practice drafts and notes separately before leaving.
Can I study on my phone or offline?
You can read and study in a modern mobile browser. A larger screen may help with coding and project work. An internet connection is required to save progress and submit assessments. The classroom is not an offline learning app.
How do goals, streaks and reminders work?
Set a weekly learning goal and your timezone in learning preferences. Study activity helps show progress and streaks; it is not an attendance requirement. Optional reminders start after three days away, with one more at least a week later. They then pause until you return. Turn them off in preferences or through a reminder email. Taking a break does not remove completed work.
Quizzes & projects4 answers
Can I see old answers and download my grades?
Open Grades & history for a course, then Review answers on a saved attempt. The personal checklist shows each remaining requirement. Download learning record (PDF) for a readable noncredit record, or learning data (JSON) for the underlying saved work. Neither is an academic transcript or GPA.
What do I need to finish a course?
Complete every required lesson and practice activity, pass the required quizzes and final assessment at 80% or higher, and submit the project and required self-review. Saving a draft or passing one quiz does not complete the course. The classroom shows remaining requirements.
Can I retry a quiz? Who grades my project?
Quizzes are scored automatically with feedback. You can make up to 10 attempts per assessment per day, with at least 30 seconds between attempts. Projects use your guided self-review and completeness checks, not individual instructor grading.
I found an incorrect answer or a problem in a lesson.
Use the contact form and choose Quizzes & projects or Lessons & progress. Include the course, lesson, question and what seems incorrect. Do not send private coursework, client details or sign-in codes. A report does not automatically change a grade.
Certificates2 answers
Where is my certificate? Can I share it?
After all course requirements are complete, open the completion record in My learning to download the certificate. Certificates are private by default. You can choose to enable a public verification link and turn sharing off later. Shared records can show your name and completion details.
Can my certificate get me a job or college credit?
A certificate records noncredit course completion. It does not guarantee employment, income, brand deals or acceptance by an employer or school. It is not college credit or independent verification of professional competence.
Accessibility1 answer
Something is difficult to read or use. How can I report it?
Use the contact form and select Accessibility. Describe the page, device or browser and what prevented you from learning. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis. If the form itself is inaccessible, it supports the standard keyboard and browser accessibility controls.
Privacy & safety1 answer
How do I export my work or delete my account?
Use the learning-record export in My learning. Account settings include a deletion request: the account is disabled and scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Download work you need first. Necessary security, audit, backup or legally required records may remain. For an access or privacy issue, use the form below.
